I keep seeing peoples answers that Jesus is God, correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that Jesus was Gods only begotten son and that believing in him and accepting Jesus as their personal savior, meaning he died for them, that through him they can speak to God. As with my son, I am in my son, my husband is in his son, but our son is not in us but a part of us, so Jesus in essence would be a part of God, but not God, no where I can think of does Jesus say "Worship me".

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand,
if they were indeed one then why would he contradict himself in the prior verse by speaking of the Father and not himself?

Okay, if you believe that their is nothing to distinguish Jesus from God, then you are in essence worshiping the son instead of the Father John: 15:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you;I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: For my Father is greater than I.

Think of Jesus, God the Father, and the Spirit as a sports team. They are all separate but have the same purpose, to make a goal, and in that essence they become one. Just like how Jesus, God the Father , and the Spirit all have the same purpose they are all one but in purpose. As far as Jesus being God, once again they are one and if one then that would mean Jesus could be a God, not necessarily "The" God.

For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

How about John 1:1? John 8:58. John 20:28.
Heb 1:6-8. Verse 6 angels are told to worship Him.
Verse 8, the Father calls the Son, God.
John 5:18 where the religious leaders of Jesus day state that they believed Jesus had claimed to be God.
Is that enough or would you like to see more?

Dear Carpathian mage,
I will be waiting to see the answers. I have sent you some sites. But maybe people will answer before they read my reply.
I think, though that many people may mis-interpret what is meant when this type of statement is made. They take this literally. Not with the understanding that, if there is an all mighty being, that it is part of everything, it is everything.
thanks for asking ..... I am looking forward to the answers.

"If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me." (hmmm I think christians do not follow only what Mose's wrote ... but we know other religions do .)

It is foolishness to imagine that Bible talks about Muhammad. Perhaps as a false prophet it may talk of Md. there is no need of Md or quran. U can go to God without Md or quran. Hebrews 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB) God’s Final Word in His Son 1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

How about this verse...
Joh 10:30 "I and the Father are one."
There are numerous passages in the Bible that support this belief...
Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." ( the key word here being "US")
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (The word of God became flesh in the form of Jesus Christ.)
Matt. 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit". (Father, Son and Holy Spirit)
2 Cor. 13:14 "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all"
Acts 5:3-4 "But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.’" (Lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God)
John 8:58 "Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am"
Mat 1:23 "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US." (God with us)
Mat 12:31 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. (Jesus said this)
Just some more thoughts...
Just a thought...

In addition to the 20 or more scriptures that state directly or indirectly that Jesus Christ is God; there is a 2000 page, circa AD1935, Revelation of Truth which when carefully perused, will really convince you that our Sovereign Creator Son Jesus is fully God here with us ! All of God's Power in Heaven and on earth is now (since AD30 Ascension) given by God the Father-Infinite I AM to our Master (Sovereign) Son of God Jesus Christ !
More importantly to me; I am Absolutely Certain that Jesus is fully God ! Since my Sacred Vision of GOD and JESUS as Two Divine Lights fusing right upon me as One Infinite Light of unspeakable love, power, glory, Personality, more ...
SEE JESUS: SEE GOD; THEY ARE ONE IN SPIRIT !
Yes, you may well pray to and worship Jesus as our loving and merciful Creator Father God and Eternal Son of God and Savior and Friend and very Elder Brother in the Family of God ! and much much more ! into Jesus' ALL TRUTH: GOD ... Amen !
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian

You are totally correct, But there is one verse that says Jesus is a God in the Gods head.... But later on it states that Jesus is not the God... But only in the Gods head can he be considered a God...... And so many false teachers take that statement to mean that Jesus is God which even Jesus Denies................................................................................ But in the end yes you do have it correctly and don't allow some false teacher to confuse you with that issue................................

there are none, Jesus is Gods son. in fact, in many bibles, there are many versions and some things are excluded at times, but Psalms 83:18 says that Gods name is Jehovah. they are however considered as one, Jesus, God and the holy spirit (holy ghost in some religions).

Jesus is the son of God. This is akin (in Judaism if i understand correctly) to saying that he is equal to god. (he is claiming sonship). This equality would be like saying that Jesus is God.
