I am terrified of bananas and cannot go near them - even in the supermarket I have to avoid that aisle. Anyone else got a bizarre phobia?

I'm not worried about spiders, beetles, worms, snails, slugs, - any creepy-crawly...........but show me a caterpillar and you wont see me for dust! Just typing the word makes my toes curl!! Ugh!!

Wasps! I am petrified of them. A few years ago there was one when I walked on the pavement, with my baby in the buggy. Without even thinking I ran out in to the middle of the road, a car just clipped my leg I had the most enormous bruise and a very strict ticking off from the driver of the car.

I have a weird phobia of clusters or clusters of holes...like those dried lotus seed pods that come in potpourri bunches? I can't look at something like that or even think about it without gagging, same with mesh on sneakers or bags, close up photos of pores, God forbid you show me an English muffin, those frogs that hatch out of their mother's back (GAK)...ok I have to go and throw up now.

Chip pan fryers. I saw a film when I was little of a bloke who broke into a resturaunt kitchen and grabbed this cooks hand. He pushed it into a chip pan fryer of oil while it was on. And held the hand there for ages. You saw the hand when it came out, all fryed and stuff.
I can't have chips from a fryer unless they are from a chippy. I explain my phobia and they give me my chips outside, where I wait. Mad, but the thought of a chip pan fryer makes me feel sick.

at the moment, men i don't know - i get sooo freaked out which isnt good as i work in a learning centre where i'm working on my own, and strangers are coming in all the time. but my normal phobias are: touching velvet, cotton wool, and people in those kids character costumes where u can't see their faces.
