A apparition is a poltergeist or spirit. And I've never seen one, although the only spirit credited with an actual murder is the Bell Witch, and that was in the early 1800's. So if you've seen one you'll probably be alright.

An apparition is a ghoast or spirit seen by mortal beings. I Have never seen one but one of my friends saw his grandpa after he died and I have heard a laughing child that I swear was an apparition.

From what I understand an apparition is when a spirit entity allows others to see it. Yes, I've seen more than one. In fact, that is how I got my name. When I was about 6 or 7, I went outside in the yard with my mother. She was raking the yard for my grandmother. I got bored so I went around to the back of my grandmother's house and sit on the steps to play with my doll. I noticed movement out of the corner of my eye and I looked into the field and I saw a whole Indian village. I saw that some of the people were working and moving around the village and I saw some of the Indians dancing around in a circle. I also saw the drummer. At that time I thought they were actually flesh and blood until my mom called my name and came to look for me. She asked what was I doing and I said, "Looking at the Indians" and I pointed. My mom looked into the field, turned as white as a sheet, and grabbed her chest. She said, "Oh! My God! Come on!" She grabbed me by the hand and dragged me away. As I went, I watched the people and the village slowly fade away. About 13 years later, my cousin from New York was visiting my grandmother and she went into the backyard because she saw a fire. It was a campfire with Indians dancing around it, when she looked around to call her sister and looked back towards the field, they were gone. She thought they were flesh and blood too. All this happen in North Carolina.

Tori, that's the best, most concise description I've read for this and I'm going to file it away for future use!
I have seen more than one spirit person. There is a little girl who stays with us right now, she and our 2 year old are good friends. After midnight or so, when the little one is in bed this spirit girl will get bored and come out and play games with us. Poking, things moving, giggling are all not uncommon. Sometimes if you turn around real quick she'll let you catch a glimpse of her - just enough to rock you back on your heels.

I saw something just the other day. It wasn't a full-bodied apparition though. Just a black thing. It blocked out the light.

I say that if anyone ever seen one,it probably was of the devil.
God clearly tells us in his word not to be taken in by witchcraft,or familier spirits.

They do not really exist; thus you can not see these things of mindal delusions or of super-conscious illusions.
All Spirits are of God and Jesus, One in Spirit upon all.
All Power is of God in Spirit and in Truth.
Our Sovereign GODMAN JESUS continually still tells us here as He the Spirit of Truth: (John 16:7-16)
"Fear not ! Be of good cheer !" "Rejoice"
"I AM with you always".
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian
