What's the point of personal hygiene when you're alone in a truck all week long ?

First of all, I'd like to know how Melissa knows? For that matter, I'd like to know how the other people who responded would have any clue.
Most truck drivers don't change their underwear, they wear their own. :)
Actually, the majority of trucks today, have sleepers in them and the drivers are routinely out on the road for 1 week. They have a set of clothes that they take along with them. Most fuel stops ( the big truck stops) have showers in them and when you purchase 100 gallons or more of fuel, you get a free ticket for a shower. The showers are individual rooms that have a changing room and a shower. Considering that the majority of diesel trucks get less than 6 miles per gallon, 100 gallons won't last you more than a day, since most drivers will drive for 10 hours at an average speed of 50mph, so, I'd say that most truckers change their clothes as often, if not more often than you do.
My last question would be, why would you ask such a question?

Well I've heard it all now,,ummmm,i really don't know the answer,so lets just pretend that I'm a truck driver,which is a very scary thought considering my car driving is bad enough,i think i would still change my knickers every day even if had nights out because there's truck stops with showers etc,so i suppose it's down to the persons individual hygiene,,crusty or not crusty ha ha
