You're getting a little obsessive. Pepsico is in the business of selling soft drinks, not running a religion or evangelizing. There are, unfortunately, some people who don't believe in God (God only knows why), and some of them are so militant about it that they don't want anyone else to believe either, and will boycott anyone or any company that mentions God's name. I feel sorry for them, at least for the ones that aren't making a pretty good living out of denying God.
You do whatever pleases you. I like Pepsi, and put it second only to Budweiser.

Who cares? It is not really a part of the pledge anyway. The Pledge of Allegiance was written so that anyone in any country could show their allegiance to their country. "Under God" was added in the 1960's during the Red Scare to distinguish Americans from communists.

I don't buy Pepsi anyway (Coke-Cola fan) but I sure will not buy any Pepsi products this is a definite affront to Christians and to patriotic Americans.

Oh, I clicked on the snopes.com link in one of the posts above and the situation is a little different than described in your question. They say "One Nation...Indivisible" - using only those 3 words and omiting all the rest, not only omiting "under God."

ok. people came from europe to north america for a few reasons. the biggest one being freedom of religion. i, for one, am a Christian. but why do some people need to believe that this is a Godly country, when, in my opinion, every country is a Godly country. "under God" should be taken out of the pledge because people here have the right to freedom of religion, and should be able to say the pledge without being blasphemous to their beliefs.

Sounds like a plan, to this ol' codger. Now, understand this, Pepsico is a world wide / international company. IF the heads of Pepsico want to sell cans in foreign countries, and omit those words, they can !!!! At the same time, IF they want to sell the maximum amount here in the USA, THEY WOULD BE WELL ADVISED TO PULL THEIR POLITICALLY CORRESTNESS HEADS OUT OF THEIR ASZ, AND GET THE SHOW ON THE ROAD, OR / OR PERHAPS THEY COULD GO THE WAY OF :: the original ROYAL CROWN, GRAPETTE, SPUR, B1, and a bunch more.
HEY PEPSICO BOSSES::: TIME TO SHAPE UP, OR SHIP OUT !!!! IS IT TIME FOR THIS OL' CODGER TO RAISE A LITTLE HELL AT THE PEPSICO YEARLY STOCKHOLDERS MEETING???
