i have a 1996 ford t-bird with the 4.6L motor.It needs new valve seals but i cant seem to find a auto parts store that carries the spring compressor.any help or advice will be greatly app.thank you.

The recomended tool is Ford Valve Spring Compressor T91P-6565-A (303 382 Global Number). These tools are made by OTC so I would assume any tool supplier that carries OTC should be able to get one. If not etoolcart.com carries them, unfortunatletly they cost $149.

you can went them at auto zone but you will have to remopve the cam shaft to change them also if you are changing the vlv seat change the vlvl's also cuase they will not seat properly also the vlv guide seals will need to be replace and since you have the head off remember you will need all new gasket for it and also replace the timing belt or just take the head and have it done by a shop
