What size is a 26 in regular numbers like 0,2, 3, 5 etc. i tried them on a pair of seven jeans at the store and they fit kinda tight but not really anymore (now a tad bit lose) because someone once told me that when buying designer jeans you have to make sure they are super tight because after wearing them a bit they stretch out to a size bigger or so, which i think is true because i once bought a pair of Citizens of Humanity in they were a 27 but they fit me sooooooo looose , i hate it, anyways so then i bought a pair of joes size 25 and they fit pretty snug but they look good, but a bit toooo snug. but anyways what size is a 26? Anyone know? Thanks...

nordstroms carrys 7 jeans and according to the website a 26 is equivalent of a size 2.

THat would be a size 3. Different brands fit differently so don't pay too much attention to the sizes between brands. Even different styles of Sevens fit differently. I have some 24s that are pefect and some that are super tight. But yes, make sure they are SNUG when you purchase them. If you must, you can partially dry them in the drier to shrink that also shrinks the length.

Just measure your waist, that the real size..now ones waist is really a 3...so put a tape around that beely and see what size you are...
