I need to know if this address its just north of the Galleria mall on Stephanie in Hendeson is an upscale area or is it not good neighborhood?Is this right by the good Green Valley area or is it not very close? I need to know before i decide. I wanted summerlin but couldn't find anything there. I need an upscale area for a nice condo and it needs to be safe and pleasant to live in the area. anyone that knows the Galleria Mall area (just north of it on Stephanie) please let me know.. I am out of state and need to know. thank you very much

I wouldnt say it is a terrible area, it is just not the best. It is kind of where the older part, the industrial part and the newer part of town meet. It is also sort of desolate due to the industrial nature of the area. I would look more towards the southwest of that area for something a little nicer. As I said in my email to you, if you stick to south of the Beltway (or just north of it) you will be fine.

It's just south of the Whitney-Henderson border. I drive by there quite often and it seems to be zoned for apartments in that area. The industrial area is actually in Whitney on the north end of Russell Road. That includes the largest electric generating plant in the state. The advantage to the location is the Galleria Mall immediately to the south of that address and the ability to drive north on Stephanie, make a left on Russell Road and get onto the I-515 freeway to downtown Las Vegas.
The disadvantage is that you are just south of the large flood channel which helps form the border between Whitney and Henderson. And that baby can fill up in a hurry when you get a gully washer storm.
