It's not even on quick launch, anymore. I tried a system restore, but nil. Is there some way I can get this back, or get just this off of my CD, without having to reinstall my entire OS? I have Win XP.

Do a Search â Files & Folders
Enter DESKTOP
When the search is completed â
Click on SHOW DESKTOP ⬠C:\ Docs & Settings\.....

Another easy way is to just have your friend EMAIL you that shortcut from their computer and then you can copy-paste that shortcut back to where it was.
