Of course you're physically capable of it, but no. Don't. Wait until high school, sweetie. I'm only fifteen, I'm not some parent saying this. I think it's too young to start. You shouldn't ave to get all dolled up at that age, it just makes you look like some skanky girl trying to be too mature and ending up looking crappy. Just wait until you start high school at least. It's not important. And glasses are better than contacts. Last time I checked, you couldn't get eye fungus from wearing specs.

All parents have different opinions and ways of parenting. I'm 13, almost 14, and my mother lets me wear makeup and I got contacts last year. But I have some advice too:
It's cool at first, but after a while, you are forced to put on makeup every day for school in order to look normal. So I suggest you can put makeup on once in a while, or very light natural looking makeup that isn't too heavy or noticeable. With contacts, they are very nice at first, but after a while, they get expensive (especially if you use the two week disposable ones), and they're very inconvenient to take on and take off. Now, I don't wear contacts unless I go to school, and I take them off right after school ends. The rest of the time, I just wear glasses when I need to (my vision isn't that poor, it's just mildly bad). That's my advice! Just wear makeup once in a while, and wear contacts if you really really need them (like my friend, who's vision is horrible). Other than that, don't wear heavy makeup and contacts all the time.

Why do u want to wear makeup? To make urself look older? to attract boys?. not a good plan. Possibly makeup for special occasions - going out for a meal, family parties etc Could u ask ur mum for advice on how to wear it ?
Presumably u have sight problems, & don't want to wear glasses? I think contacts arte more trouble than they're worth, but I've been wearing specs for a very long time. Hope this helps

I was 14 until I started wearing them.
honestly, perserve your youth.
Makeup can clog your pores, cause pimples which can leave wonderful acne scars.
You'll mess up your face.
Contacts are more of an expense for your parents than just glasses, particularly because you'll probably be given disposable ones.
I know for two boxes of contacts, it costs $80- this is especially expensive if your eyes are two different perscriptions- it's not like you can wear one in the other and save money buying just one box.
This adds up, especially considering one pair of prescription glasses costs around $200- which in the end is cheaper than having to buy and rebuy contacts, at $80 for two boxes.
Perhaps, to prove that you really want them, get a job or offer to do chores in exchange for an allowance in order to buy these things on your own.

I'm 13 and I've worn makeup ever since i was in 6th grade (I'm going into 8th) i personally think its no big deal and it makes you feel good about your appearance. When i first started wearing make up, i only wore eye shadow. but now i wear eye liner, mascara, eye shadow, foundation and lip gloss. On days when I'm lazy, I'll usually just wear a little eye liner on top. And i don't wear contacts but i know so many ppl that do. And when they got them they were sooo relieved for not having to wear glasses anymore.
Hope you can wear makeup and contacts soon :]

i'm exceedingly beneficial you need to positioned on colored eye contacts. whether you have a dismal eye shade, there are contacts that would substitute your eye shade to a lighter shade. yet there are some cons from wearing colored eye touch lenses like the incontrovertible fact that some harm your eyesight swifter than widespread sparkling touch lenses. additionally, while you are going to positioned on colored touch lenses, I propose you wash them remarkable, and could end wearing them whilst/in the event that they expire by way of fact some touch lenses are meant to be worn for a undeniable quantity of time (EX:a million day, or a week or so). There are some non disposable colored touch lenses, although.in case you buys some from a close-by keep that sells touch lenses, you may ask the broker the thank you to bathe them and how long you may positioned on them till now/in the event that they expire. additionally, below U.S. regulation you like a touch lens prescription.Even for "plano" lenses that have not have been given prescriptive means. paying for any kind of touch lenses and not employing a prescription supplies significant hazards of blindness or different eye accidents in the event that they're dispensed with out perfect a prescription or perfect setting up by skill of a qualified eye care expert. wish this facilitates? :)

All that I can say is listen to what your parents are saying, they know best. But what can help you is start off slow with this issue and do little tid bits at a time, and remember only wear a little because natural is more beautiful.
