Since I was a little kid, sometimes I will look at my watch to see what time it is and then when I look later the watch stopped on the last time I looked. I can reset my watch and it will work again so its not that the battery went dead. And it never randomly does it, it does it at exact times I look at my watch. I have heard and read things about this happening to people with an abundant amount of enerygy. How does that work? ANd what else could it be?

To add to what Boris said, it could also be that your nerves are picking up on when the watch stops (the ticking stops and your nerves might register that something has changed). You look at it then because your body told you to. Then you look at it later and it's the same time it was before.

I would say if you have had over the course of a year 10 different watches that did the same thing same time. You might be on to something.

I would say that your watch stops often and when you look at it the first time, you think it is the correct time, so when you look at it the second time, you are shocked to find that it is once again that moment stuck on your watch.

I can't stand digital watches, but I can't wear analog watches. I have the tendency to magnetize them so they either lose time or stop altogether unless I alternate between wearing it and leaving it off.

I dunno. Get a couple more watches, look at them all at the same time and see if they all stop. That is the scientific way of checking.
