Hi,it all started when 1 of my 3 betas was missing. 2 days later I find 1 of the remaining 2 bettas in miserable condition, and put it in a bowl.U can c all the pictures @
http://pets.webshots.com/album/560042890sLUEaW .Eventually both the bettas(1 in the aquarium and the 1 in the bowl) died.I asked about this earlier, and most eople thot the bettas faught & injured 1 another. But then my orange mollies & guppies started dying. So i moved the tigerBarbs to a different container. But the fish kept dying. So I removed the angel fish from the tank and put them in a bowl. But the tigerBarbs are all dead now,& the fish are still dying. It is like 1 dead fish every 5 hrs.Btw,I have been doing very frequent water changes, have added antiChorinator, salt, antiBacterial meds. However, the platties and angel fish are ok.Cannot tell u about nitrite levels coz theres nothing here available to test them. Temperature was 33 degrees celcius, but I lowered it to 28 today, and still 1 guppy died right now. HELP!

You have way to much going on in your tank
You're only suppose to do partial waterchanges of 25% weekly with a gravel siphon, sounds like you overcleaned your tank
As for the betta, it looks like it had finrot
As for the temperature, WAY to high, you're suppose to keep it around 24-26 C
My guess is that you put way to much water conditioner in your tank, as well as salt and anti bacteria
Why would you put antibacteria? your fish need the bacteria to survive
Also you might have used the wrong meds as well

It looks like you never let your cycle finish, or the bacteria a chance to grow and establish your tank

Ugh. I don't want to be impolite, but what I have seen is just wrong.
First, never ever keep fishes in bowls. It is cruel.
Second, tiger barbs and bettas are a bad match. Tiger barbs tend to chew on betta's fins.
Third, scalars need a tank which has a minimum height of 50 cm
Fourth, 33 degrees and even 28 degrees celsius are waaaaaaaay to much. Lower the temperature slowly at 25 degrees and keep it.

And now four very important questions:
1) How long have you got this fish tanks?
2) How much nitrite is there in the water?
3) How often and how much do you change the water?
4) When was the last water change?

It's difficult to say without more info (how big is your tank? How many fish? What kind of filtration? What pH? What temp? Tank location (next to windows, in sunlight)? However, you've got a lot of incompatible fish. It's ironic that the angels and platties are the only fish doing oK, because they both require pretty different water conditions.

Your bettas probably did kill each other. If they get any bites on each other, the bites can quickly become infected and kill the fish. One betta per tank only. Tiger barbs are fairly agressive little fish too, and love to attack fish with big fancy tails...like guppies and mollies. Now, you've possibly got a whole tank full of fish that have various fungal and bacterial infections due to fighting injuries. No matter how good your water quality is (and it can't be great for all of the disparate fish you have), you have infections that are probably spreading like wildfire.

ok your tank crashed, be glad it was just cheap fish for the most part I had a tank with over $500 in fish crash. NEVER put bettas in the same tank together with out a divider between it they will kill eachother and the stress could kill your other fish, How frequent are your water changes, change water once a month and even then don't change more than 10 to 15%. dont use test strips they lie use a full test kit. Tight now since you aren't sure what caused it very extensivly wash and RINSE your entire tank buy new filter cartridges, and allow water to cycle with just water and aquaclear for at least two days if not a full week. then try just a few guppies or what ever special they are running on cheap fish at the pet store .

OH NO! I have a 75 gallon tank and it's very frustrating when they die.
I can't really see anything on the pictures, because they are fuzzy.

Fish get stressed due to light. I sometimes turn out my light and it calms them down and makes them less stressed.

There's really not much you can do if they are dying at this fast a rate.

I wouldn't add anymore fish until the levels in the tank level out. This takes usually 3 to 4 weeks after a water change.

You may take a dead fish to your local pet store and they may be able to tell you why they are dying.

i`m sorry i really don`t know, maybe they`re just old?u know i had like 30 fish and 2 snails, and 10 fish died in 1 night!!But i know why,i forgot to keep the oxygen on!!!the snails crawled out of the aquarium, but after a month or two some fish started getting these black scales(really disgusting) so i put some salt in the aquarium BUT i forgot that snails aren`t really crazy abt salt so they died.so now i have a 6 or 7 months old fish,he`s adorable his name`s (baba ghanooj)which is a kind of food here, and a dragon- like fish that ate a smaller fish of mine and bit the other one`s tail off!!
i have no idea why i`m writing this

too frequent of water changes or too much water from the tank being changed could create issues , another is are you getting enough air in the tank ? are you letting the water your putting in to change temper with dechlorinator set overnight before adding it to the tank , do you have plants ?they help keep the tank with the proper amount of healthy bacteria
