when i start my period it looks sort of brownish...and when it ends its brownish..what is it?..why?

Don't worry this is normal - it is old blood - nothing to worry about.
At start - period starts slow - so sits in body for short while.
At end - same reason.

It is usually normal, and is usually old blood ... but just in case you need to go see a gyno to make sure it's not a sign of anything serious ;-)
If you don't have the money, you can go to a free clinic to see the gyno. Get there early, and make sure not to leave take off work or school or whatever. Sometimes it takes a good 3 hours before they see you. Depending on how busy you local free clinic is.

That is just old blood. It is completely normal. Don't worry about it. Most women get it at the brginning or end of their periods.
