I have narrowed it down between two toshiba Satelite Im gonna be taking it to school and using it to do presentations using like mediashout

First one is

also would you recommend a chill mat for the laptop?

get the first laptop. its much better and has a better intergrated graphics card.

I would highly recommend Toshiba laptops. You should choose the Toshiba Satellite A135-S4727.

http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=145674 has a comparison between the 2 CPUs. The 2nd one seems to have more bang for your buck IMO. And the chill mat? Definitely! My laptop overheats alot and it lags the whole damn thing down to cool it!

The first one is far better, worth the monetary difference. Bigger and later CPU, bigger HD, better graphics.
