Voldemort's damaged soul or the piece of the voldemorts soul inside harry potter...
This is the explaination given in wikipedia!!
"A wounded and dying baby-like creature lies on the floor, representing Voldemort's damaged soul. He meets the deceased Albus Dumbledore, who explains that Harry cannot die while the blood carrying Lily's protection resides in Voldemort's body. He further explains that the part of Voldemort's soul within Harry has been destroyed by the Avada Kedavra curse."

In the chapter entitled "Kings Cross" from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the creature whimpering on the floor in King's Cross Station behind Dumbledore and Harry is the part of Lord Voldemort's soul that was destroyed when Harry gave attempted to give his life up. Basically, the horcrux Voldemort accidentally made when he tried to kill Harry years ago was "killed" when Voldemort used Avada Kedavra on Harry, though the curse only killed the horcrux stored inside of Harry, sending the soul to a sort of "death." However, Voldemort is not really dead; he is in a kind of Purgatory, if you will.

It is the little piece of Voldemort that was accidentally placed inside Harry when Harry was a baby. This made Harry an accidental Horcrux and what Voldemort accomplished by striking Harry in the forest was to kill that little piece of himself that was lodged in Harry. Thus, when Neville managed to kill Nagini, the snake, the last of the Horcruxes was gone leaving Voldemort vulnerable when the last curse rebounded on himself, killing him because all the other little pieces had been already destroyed, including the little piece inside Harry. The question that leaves me is what happens to the talents of Voldemort that he also gave to Harry? Can Harry still speak parceltongue?

It was that part of Voldemort's soul which until now was within Harry's body which was destoyed by Voldemort himself when he performed the Avada Kedavra on Harry. As this entire King's Cross station scene was going on in Harry's head itself, the part of the soul was also essentially being destroyed within the same body.
J.K.Rowling said in one of her interviews when asked whether Voldemort would be able to become a ghost, that he would be forced to stay in this stunted form as seen in ' King's Cross '.

The creature is Voldemort. When both wizards fire a spell at each other, they are both knocked into unconsciousness. There they meet Albus Dumbledore. Well at least Harry does. Voldemort and Dumbledore both know Voldemort's death is near when Dumbledore see's him lying on the ground whimpering. Voldemort realises it as well. && you know the rest. ^_^

It's a form of Voldemort. J.K.R. in an interview said that Voldemort is going to stay in his form forever. He would never move on. He would stay in this state between life and death since he never reconciled with the idea of dying.

That was the part of Voldemort that was inside Harry. It was crying because it was dead. I know, it is kind of confusing.

Voldemorts remorse. Dumbledore said it was beyond their help. When Harry dueled Voldemort he told him to show some remorse. Harry was trying to save him. He did not show remorse. Dumbledore was right. They could not help him.
