There is no solid surface of the sun. The sun is a large ball of superheated ionized gas (plasma). The core of the sun would have to be a solid core of iron in order for it to have a surface. Problem with that is the sun is undergoing nuclear fusion of hydrogen in the core and if its core was iron then it could not fuse anything, essentially being a " dead star ". But if somehow the sun could survive with an iron core and if you could survive the millions of degrees Kelvin then you would still have to worry about being crushed under the extreme gravity. Even if we were as technologically advanced as we could be...walking on the sun would be essentially impossible.
The sun doesn't have enough mass either to fuse anything past oxygen and carbon meaning that it would become a white dwarf upon its death. Hope this helps.

The surface of the the sun varries in temperature from 5500-6000 egrees Celsius (yes it varries depending on the where you are, the movement of gases/plasma, "storms" on the surface, solar flares, etc). So I'm going to go with no.
Not to mention since the sun is made up of plasma (gas in liquid form sort of - but not liquid) even if in theory you could get someone how tolerate the heat, its gravity would pull you right into the center. since there is nothing solid to put your feet on. Oh btw even if you somehow could walk on plasma, its gravity would be so strong (28 times stronger than Earths) that it woud collapse/compact you down.
So again, no. This will never happen.

No. It does not have a solid surface. It is a mass of burning gas, and when I say burning, I mean exploding with the force of A LOT of nuclear explosions. So, being anywhere near it would be bad. Consider that we're millions of miles away, and we get blisters when exposed to the sun for too long. Imagine what would happen if we were even half way there.

The Sun has no surface. What we see as the surface is just glowing hot gas. You would sink right through it. You could no more stand on it than you could stand on a cloud.
And it is hot enough to melt or even boil any material we know.

I doubt it. Even if we could come up with some form of protection to combat the high temperatures and high gravity, then the turbulent surface of the sun would throw us about so much it would kill us.

There's no surface on which to land. The Sun is composed entirely of plasma.

The sun has no real 'surface' because it's made of super-heated plasma. Plasma is a weird kind of matter between solid and liquid.

no, even if there was a way to withstand the heat, which I doubt, the sun doesn't have a solid surface for people to walk on, and the gravity would crush them before they even landed

Lets just say that you will not die for a moment. How do you walk on something that does not have a solid surface?

no...even if there were technology allowing for the intense heat, the surface of the sun is a gas...humans can not walk on gases.
