That sounds like pop-eye, a fish disease. You can add a small amount of non-iodized (plain or Kosher salt, and make sure there's no iodine in the ingredient listing) to the tank (add a tablespoon if you have a tank that's at least one gallon). A small amount of salt might help kill the disease. After letting the salt sit for a day, do a partial water change (remove and replace about twenty to thirty percent of the water). Good luck.

f years is actual youthful for a goldfish, its some 30 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous individual. Goldfish stay from 20-25 years on popular. he's no longer close to the tip of his stay in any respect, till he's in a tank smaller than 20 gallons, 70 if he's someone-friendly, feeder, or comet goldfish. He could desire to stay somewhat longer, yet there'll in all risk be some problems. Infections or inner parasites could desire to infect him, which might maximum in all risk kill him.

Can you describe it more, post a picture or something. My fish had some kind of eye thing going on and it was just so wierd, like pop-eye/cloudy eye/eye falling out/eye wierd!! I had to kill it it wasnt getting better. Post picture please. :]
Also if it falls out and your fish doesnt have a wound there or infection you can leave it. Fish adapt just like the the blind cave tetra.

My fish had this problem. It was an angelfish and it started getting sick (floating sideways) the other angelfish would then peck at his eyeballs. The fish would also stick to the filter and this would then cause the eyeball to be suctioned out. Sad but true.

It decided the fish wasn't seeing anything interesting, so it went to explore on its own.
