I for the most part fit the definition of the "Surrendered wife" I just made sure I found someone with the same beliefs, values, goals and ideas as me. I don't have a problem with trying to "make him do something" be something he's not or to stop doing something I don't like. I didn't marry someone who liked to go to strip clubs and then try to make him stop, I married someone who like me thinks getting hot and bothered with no end result is stupid. Because I worked hard to find someone with the same values and wants in life many people think I am not really "submitting or surrendering" however I honestly think that making sure you are well meshed is the only way someone can healthily and safely enter into this type of relationship. In our home really the only thing it does is give him an advantage in a tie breaker argument since we normally mutually agree on day to day life.
