OK, I'm in a 10 team league & I drew the 10th pick. Our scoring is the usual for RB & WR, but we increased QB scoring last year, giving only -1 per INT & 1 pt. per 20 pass yards, which made QB's the top scorers as a group by far. This year we are increasing starting positions to 3 WR's & 2 QB's (2 RB' the same.) Assuming the 7 top-tier RB's are gone, would it be crazy to pick QB's with picks 10 & 11? Keep in mind I have the 2nd pick of the 3rd round (don't ask, we do some crazy stuff.) Does it matter if Peyton still happens to be there (though I cna't imagine that happening)? Or should I go 2nd tier RB & QB?

if you're at the turn, take Palmer if Manning is not available, take them both if they're both still there.

if only Palmer is still available, i'd pursue these players, in this order:

Addai
Brady
Gore
Alexander
McNabb
Harrison
Jones-Drew

I'm assuming that the top 5 elite backs will be gone.

If you are in a 10-team league and you're picking #10/11, and only the top 7 RBs are gone, someone took P Manning, and probably Tom Brady or Carson Palmer.

So, take the best remaining RB and the top remaining QB with your picks. There are still a lot of quality RBs left and you definitely want to fill your top QB spot before all the good ones are gone.

DO NOT DRAFT A QB AT 10 OR 11! You must draft an RB and back it up with a WR at 10/11 or vice/versa! There are no stand out QB's other than Peyton Maniing and his fantasy numbers were way down last year. There will be plenty of quality qb's to draft later in the draft....snare your rb's and wr's early!

the big problem with taking 2 qbs, is that by the time the pick gets back to you, the rb depth will be slim. if anything pick a rb and a qb...rbs and wrs will go fast no matter what the scoring system. i'd stick with either rb and qb or rb and rb. qb depth is usually always way better than rb depth.

Pick a QB at #10/11 if you want to come in a distant 3rd or 4th in your league...You must go RB/RB - even if it's not LT, Jackson, or LJ - you have to live & die fantasy football by the Running Back...Pick your faves of what's left & grab a QB later (possibly much later - I went for Phil Rivers in the 7th round & he's a borderline #1...)
