I had a Dart I got from a friend for $50. It wouldn't go in reverse. I used to park so I could pull out going forward or on inclines so it would roll backward. Got a radio from somewhere and sat it on the floor.
Thanks for the memory, kinda had fun with that car.

bought a 1987 Dodge Shadow for like $100. It was the best car ever. It even towed another car from Florida all the way up to Michigan and drove out to Las Vegas after I sold it.
Wished I still had that car

I've only owned two vehicles so far: $3000 for a '97 Pontiac Sunfire was the cheapest. My current '00 Ford Ranger POS still has $4300 to go (originally bought for $7000).
My boyfriend's '87 Ford F-150 was free. It'd been sitting in his cousin's yard for 2 years, so he gave it to him. About $800 later, that thing runs like a charm!

In 1981, I bought a 1972 Ford Pinto for $200. Sold it for twice that 6 months later.
That car sucked so badly...

When I was 16 many moons ago, I paid $100 for a 77 Pontiac sunbird and it ran great for about 1 month.

I have only had 3 cars, I am only 20.. but I didn't pay for them. My first car came from family so I think they sold it to my parents for a thousand or so, then I had a truck which was 7 thousand I think, and I just got a new car which was 21 thousand something.

My X once bought a car for $10. It had a leaky fuel hose, which he fixed and no floor boards. 3 gears, shift on the column. Was interesting try to drive with no floor boards. LOL
