How bad is the traffic in Manila? As far as I am concerned, not nearly as bad as Denver, LA, San Diego, Saint Louis, Ft. Myers, FL, Washington, D.C., etc. It is different and thereby confusing: Filipinos will come to an intersection and just beep their horns for the right of way! Roxas Blvd. and a few others keep busy most of the day, and the main highways, such as going north to Angeles City; otherwise, it is fairly quiet.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Picture a trip that would take you 15 minutes if the streets were empty and having said trip take you two hours. I hate the traffic!! I especially hate the u-turn slots since I believe these cause a lot of the congestion.

Terrible especially on Roxas Bl, noise and diesel fumes from jeepnies and trucks. There are really three rush hours one from 6:00 am and again at noon and then again at 17:00 to 20:00

It can get kinda bad in the middle of the day, especially on weekdays. If you travel in the early morning though, you can get to Lawton from Cavite in about 30 mins. Seriously.

I have been there twice and it is BAD. But I have found it is like that everywhere in the Philippines. I am from Canada and have family in the Philippines. . .so it was a shock to me. I thought it was bad in Toronto.
