What are the washer settings for darks, and do you have to use any detergent for darks, if so, what kind?

cold to warm for colors are best hot for whites but cold or warm will work either way i just use cold

First of all look at the attached cleaning tags inside your clothes. I use warm/cold for all darks except delicates then I use cold/cold. You would use the same detergent for darks as you would for whites except no chlorine bleach. A color safe bleach would be fine.

I wash all my dark clothes on cold and i use woolite clothes for darks or u can use cheer for dark clothes and this will prevent fading and discoloration...
