Also, Social security was doomed from the start but noone wants to fix it except those running for president.

Social security doomed from the start? It has ran for over 60 years, and even the most pessimistic estimates give it another 25-40 years if no adjustments are made. that's hardly "doomed from the start".

As for DHS, as a liberal who supported it, I am willing to go back and say I made a mistake wanting to establish it. Besides, it is your right and duty to criticise the President if he or she screws up.

I'm confused. The DHS was created under Bush, wasn't it? And Social Security wasn't doomed from the start, since at the start they couldn't have known about the baby boomers. Do you, perhaps, have an actual example of what you're talking about?
