First they hold a press conference to complain loudly that the Republicans have not done anything to fix the bulb.

Second: They demand hearings to find out exactly how long the bulb has been out and who knew and when.

Third: They will howl and ask why they were not informed of the bulb being burned out.

Four: An independent committee will be formed to study the problem of the burned out bulb and come up with recommendations to fix the problem and insure that it never happens again.

5: Once the recommendations are released, an environmental impact study must be done to deduce the impact of the waste bulb.

6: Bids will be taken to procure a new bulb.

7: Replacement will be delayed by budget questions.

8. It is discovered a ladder will have to be used so the whole thing goes back to committee.

9: Democrats run for office saying that the light bulb situation is intolerable and if elected, they will fix it.

10. Democrats take over congress, vote themselves a raise and go home to raise money for their re-election campaigns.
