yesterday my girlfriend told me i should get a part time job at home depot. not for the money but so i can learn how to fix things around the house. she says thats a real man does. she pissed me off with that comment. i told her that just because i am not a handy man doesnt make me not a real man. a real man pays the bills. a real man helps take care of his girlfriends kids that are not his. i even went out and put a deposit on a duplex house for us to live in. but yet she doesnt think im a real man cause i am not a mr fix it. she said her father says that men should know how to do different things.

Sounds to me like your girlfriend has rather lofty ideals of what a man is. You are not her father. If that is what she wants, maybe she should go home. Honestly, I'd probably dump her. Doesn't sound like the kind of girlfriend I'd want to have, but I can't speak for you! Good luck!

and i agree with her i hope you dont expect her to fix the bulbs hammer nails put away the hose pipe mop water after you .you would make any womans life miserable.seriously speaking a woman feels proud when her dude is able to do what i would want to call silly jobs round t he house ,the bills could be paid food in the fridge but with a house out of order i wouldnt be content ,get the job at home depot

First of all she shouldnt compare you to her father. Second of all you dont have to be able to fix things to be a real man. If you take care of her kids she should be grateful of you. If she wants something fixed she should her Mr. Fixit father to fix it. Don't worry about her... she may just be PMS-ing so she'll get over herself eventually! As far as I'm concerned you are a real man with all the stuff you do!

u better set her str8 man. really tho. if u do all these things for her then her *** needs to learn how to be a lil more appreciative. what tha hell. that would piss me off too. a real man does pay bill. a real man does take care of his responsibilities. it takes more than a real man to take care of his girlfriends kids and they aint his. ha!!! she is trippin man. u need to sit her down n handle that n make sure she dont EVER stepp outta line like that again. As far as i can notice you sound a really helpful man.I think your lady as been selfish.We ain't perfect.She is asking way to much.I love my partner for what he is because he is my lover and my best friend.Sorry and I hope I'm wrong but it seems to me that she needs a slave.Best wishes.
