Israel is BETTER informed by its media than the US is. It is a bit of a stretch to say the Israeli media covers the Palestinian issue remarkably well. Things like the demographic threat of refugees, the fallacious covering of the Iranian nuclear program and an approach to the foundation of Israel that seems plagiarized from "From time immemorial" makes one ready to agree with the first answerer.
I recommend reading Al-Jazeera as most Israelis already do. Of course, in the US, Al Jazeera has not managed to find access. What is this first amendment you speak of?

So you've actually lived in Israel then, have you?
I assume yes, as you seem to feel you are qualified to discuss Israeli media...
The Israeli media is no better than in any other democratic country.
Perhaps you'd like to specify these 'immoral' policies that you refer to, and back them up with facts, rather than just throwing insults around.
One thing most sane people can agree on: Israel is certainly a kinder, more humane, more just nation than any of her Arab neighbours.
Or perhaps you prefer Iran, where women are still regularly stoned to death by crowds of men?
Or Saudi Arabia, where it's illegal to even own any religious text other than the Koran? And where women aren't permitted to drive?
And I assume you'll also be posting a question voicing concern about Palestinian TV - which currently is showing 'cartoons' for children as young as three in which they repeat the oldest and most vicious lies about the jewish people and religion?
I assume you'll be equally concerned about this....?
Before you bother posting anything else, at least educate yourself about Israel. Clearly at present you know nothing.

Goodness sake, folks, read the Israeli media then listen to the Islamic medias! No one is unbiased.
Presenting half the story doesn't make you look so good, either, particularly with a pure opinion post and no proof (may be true, that's not the point).

I don't think they are well informed by their arrogant media, which "sometimes" distorts facts, of both current events and historical events.

They are well-informed which gives them the upper hand. And we all know that information is power.
