He says that if elected he will send troops to hunt down terrorists in Pakistan if the Pakistani gov't does not do so.
Can we trust Pakistan not to retaliate with nukes?

No, we cannot trust Pakistan no to retaliate.

But currently, Pakistan does not have the capability to retaliate against the US mainland. At best, they could nuke our military bases in the region -- which would involve attacking more than just the US.

Because of that, it's unlikely they would be that stupid.

The Pakistani Foreign Ministry stated that the move would not be met with force, but rather, it would severly deterioriate relations. There was no mention of a nuclear response. What the 1st guy said was true also.

We sure can. Pakistan may have (primative) nukes, but they have no delivery system that can reach us. I suppose they could attempt to hit U.S. forces that are in Pakistan, I mean if they want to turn WMDs on thier own country.

I don't support Obama btw, I'm just sayin'...

There is a strong possibility of a limited nuclear war. Of course the outcome of the war would be most interesting. In order for the US to win, Obama would have to be impeached and removed from this country so a real person with guts could conduct the war. For the terrorists to win, Obama stays in office and surrenders after the first bomb was dropped.

No, since
1. He is not GE Bush, so he would actually have a strategy.
2. As long as we have India on our side we can take out their Nuclear Stations with Air Strikes even before Musharraf can say Al Qaeda.
3. Hunting down Terrorists was priority one, wasn't it?
4. Your either with us or against us, remember?
5. Their Nukes can't reach us. If you have proof otherwise please share.

Good neocon avatar. A primate that refuses to listen.

Pakistan is as likely to retaliate with nukes as Iraq was.

Just how do we select the countries we want to invade? I guess if Pakistan had made a fool out of G.H.W.B. instead of just G.W.B. we would already be in it.

No, I doubt it would go that far. But I will say that though Obama has the right idea - Al Queda in Pakistan must be dealt with - he has proven in the last week that he has a lot to learn when it comes to diplomacy and dealing with heads of state.

we have every right to get the terrorists.
we've invaded iraq without any worries and we're angering iran with no fear- shouldn't we do the same with a country that actual has ties with those who have attacked us?
