13 years ago I became a stay at home mom - I loved doing it but nobody told me how isolating it was (I didn't live near family and left friends to move/marry).. so for 13 years I have "friends" and yes we've talked, met - and my life is a lot more
since the kids are older but - sure. I also work at home in skin care and many of my contacts are over the internet, I have no problem meeting any one of my 'team' or clients.
If I was 'dating' I'd do it with safety and numbers.

sure, why not? As long as its a public place. And for all the people against it, eh your thing, but its really no different than meeting some random guy in a bar, or speed dating or any other situation when you dont know the person. But i found my Fiance online...we are very happy together, probably never would have met if not for the internet chat room.

I've done it before, back when i was like 21-22 (2000), If your in a really crowded place it's cool, I actually met one of my current best friends that way in a hockey chat room. Things are different now, though it's only been 7 years, and you needed to be careful then, you really need to be extra careful now. Go for it just make sure you tell someone close to you where you're going and what the deal is.

Yes, I have met quite a few from the internet. Although I had seen them in pics or video's. But I talked with them all for some time before we met.
All of my meetings were very positive.
The people were all great.

properly, as a married lady, i haven't stricken to function my husband to my facebook website. I forget approximately approximately "status" and what college I went to an prolonged time in the past and all that stuff. It hasn't got here approximately to me. I "buddy" in undemanding terms human beings i know so as that all of them know my husband. i'm not on facebook to troll for strangers. i'm not hiding him.... and that i've got under no circumstances long gone to his facebook website to confirm what he does because of the fact I stay with him and we talk and do issues mutually and talk. If he'd placed something exciting on his facebook website he wanted me to confirm then he'd in basic terms tutor it to me. Why do you care a fig approximately this besides? you have have been given a rant yet not a attitude so.... what the heck?

I would and I have. Pick a public place to meet up like a cafe bar or restaurant.

Yeah, why not? I've done it a few time, as long as we're careful, it could be a fun thing to experience.
