I have a bird feeder in front of my big picture window. Every day a little chipmunk comes scurrying up the pole to the feeder and stuffs his cheeks. I get the biggest kick out of watching him, especially when a bird flies in and he jumps down scampering off with that tail of his stuck straight in the air. Makes me smile.

I have this low garden edge plant called, Mexican heather, and it has this dark green foliage with bright lavender tiny flowers, as you walk along the edge of the garden you look down and see hundreds of bees, they are everywhere, and just buzzing their little hearts out. They love the heather, and they make me really happy for some reason ...when I see them. I go especially out everyday when I get home...just to see the bees.
