You try to set up things that aren't the same as if they are. Bush fired prosecutors for political reasons because they didn't do what he wanted. Clinton did what every president has done and cleaned house at the start.

That's just one example of how they aren't the same.. though you want them to be. And you seem to forget.. the Democrats didn't come into power from their voting base alone. So that must mean that many Independents and Republicans had to vote for them as well.. so many people must agree that Bush is not doing a good job at the position.

So relax a little.. and instead of being defensive ... think about it and see what YOU think about everything. If you can think it through and find that you still support his policies then good for you.. you'll also find that you won't have to rely on false statements any more to back up your beliefs.

Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar, and Rhodes Scholars were given deferments during the war.

Bush lost his flight status the military doctor wasn't good enough for him.

Reagan armed the mujahedin in Afghanistan, sent arms to Iran, and gave Saddam $500 million to buy arms when Saddam was losing the Iran-Iraq War.

They don't hold Bush to standards - they just reflexively criticise and oppose anything he says or does.

In at least some of the examples you site, I'm sure there were conservatives critical of Clinton who now have no problem with Bush doing the same sorts of things.
