Pokemon ROM Hacking?

I want to use this Rom Hacking tool called unLZ.gba, but when I use it I can't see any of the sprites, all I see is a mess of colors, what should I do?

Which ROM are you hacking? I know quite a bit about hacking the "old-school" ones, but I'm not very experienced with the newer ones.

In any case, you might be able to find another utility that does the same or a similar thing for you. You may have heard of these sites already, but I'll list them anyway:
