He's not falling apart. He had a couple bad starts and then a couple starts where the offense didnt score any runs. In two of his losses he only gave up 1 or 2 runs. He is slumping a little bit but thats just cause his arm is starting to get tired. I think that he'll return to the Beckett at the beginning of the season.

Well considering baseball plays 160 games, and travel alot, one can only expect a player to go through a little rough patch. Beckett will be fine. Do you really think he is going to fall apart in the playoffs? I dont. Thats what matters. Although, I think the Tigers are going to win the WS, BoSox have a great team. They also added Gange. Good move, but when Tigers get Zumaya and Rodney back, they are untouchable. They should be up 10 games now. But there not since there bullpen blows at the moment. Also, I think they should have went after Dye. They could have traded Wily Mo and a prospect for him. And not a top prospect. Atleast I dont think. Dye is a better feilder and would benefit from the green monster.

Hahahaha, yes there is cause for concern in Beantown. Not just Beckett but guys, they are not as good as everyone thinks they are. Everyone is giving them the championship because they picked up Gagne. Ya gotta get to those innings to use him or Paplebon. The starters are starting to slow down and the offense is iffy and oh yeah, here come the Yankees!

honestly, i dont think any one knows, maybe not even beckett. my best guess is that he just gets tired? He has always had a blister problem with his fingers, maybe that has something to do with it?

Falling apart??
Fabio.........don't get me started now!! He has been awesome all season and had only one bad start. Last night wasn't bad, they just couldn't get it together! I still love my ace pitcher, bad boy!! He won't be "falling apart" come October!
