can anyone of us Humans create anything out of nothing (no existence). The only thing you might be able to do is change the form of the energy as it is said you can not destroy it. So Where did you get it at the first place it. We puny little humans hardly can feed ourselves at the moment of birth yet we think we have found the secret of our creation. Lol how deep is the ocean and what life is there^_^. This galaxy is so big that our solar system is like a dot, how big would the universe be. And in some religion it is said that there are 7 universes and each one is like a dot to the other. SO you think with the brain like ours we can know it all? We haven't yet physically witnessed 4th dimension and there are 7 more to discover. Can we create any of them or just experiment with them what has already given to us. Man kind is yet to discover the ability of his own mind let alone play GOD or ask about Him. But don't be disheartened, all your questions will be answered after you die, i mean all of us. Death is not our final destiny but the beginning of what was promised to us. Rather then pondering why GOD gave men nipples we all should be wondering why we were sent here and what is our purpose. Yes mankind will live this universe, as it is already prophesied. But that doesn't mean he will challenge GOD and take over His throne hahaha!! our life is not like the game GOD of War(Dam PS2) Uhem. anywho i sound kinda stupid and i will shut my yaps!!

Take care

Lets start by saying the we humans are insignificants, and that the only thing we know for sure is this: we know nothing.

The size of our planet is so insignificant compared to the size of the (known) Universe, that “blowing” away our planet, or even our entire Solar system, would do nothing to the balance that we see in our Universe.

Based on that, to think that a divine God created us to obey and follow his word and that we were made “imitating” him, well, is just not logical and very immature.

But for us humans, the need of a God is almost as fundamental as the need of food and air. We have always being impressed by superior forces. First we though God was the lightning and the thunder, and the earthquakes and storms where the power of the Gods. Then we created religions, which at the end are nothing but a series of laws to control, and we started to follow it.

Today there are many religions in the world, most people believe and have faith on at least one religion, and some just believe in a God and try to stay away from religions in general.

The need or necessity to have a God as a “master creator” of everything is more related to our way of thinking than to reality.

As we all have started to see, our world is much more complex and “weirder” than we have ever imagine. Just looking at Einstein’s theories or relativity, quantum mechanics, and all those new theories that try to explain everything (String and M theories), we realized how limited is our view of the Cosmos, and how wrong we think of things and how they work. Still, no matter how complex it seems to be, at the end is simple and probably we are just thinking is complex because we are not used to it.

Those who think “there has to be a God who created everything” are thinking using a limited view and a limited reasoning based on our own experiences in this tiny planet we call Earth. To think of a creator, we must take our own knowledge to a higher level, much higher than anybody has and can right now.

And we might not even get closer to a real answer of who or what and why created everything. It just goes beyond our comprehension… for now.

As for me, I do not believe on any religion. I think they are all wrong and just a way to control us. They were invented by us humans, so I rather not to follow any of them. Besides the fact that all religions disgusts me since the day I realized how the events of 9/11 were a direct result of religion believes mixed with money interest from many groups. And same as those events, most wars and killing all around the world have been and keep on being the product of religion clashes.

I think there could be a God, a being that is much more powerful than anything imaginable, still, I do not believe it 100%, I just think is a possibility just like there is also a possibility that the Universe was created by chance, or that we are one in an infinite number of universes.

Imagination takes over at the edge where we can not see anymore and we have to start guessing. And as far as we know, there are no rules for that, and anything imaginable and non imaginable could be the answer to your question.

Our discoveries have put religions ins a worse position, but is making us humans get a better understanding of everything, and might help us get rid of religion and start to work towards a common goal: to expand and to help each other become better. So simple, and yet so complex for those with strong religion believes and closed minds.

God is Spirit and no Man can grasp the reality in human sense, science and wisdom of men can only go so far. Do we realize that one fraction of time out of its place would destroy the whole world??? We will never be able to grasp enough to know for sure their is a God until we receive the Holy Spirit in our hearts, which is the living God and no more question if God is real or not, yes God is in control of everything including the universe!!!!!

If anything, studying the universe as a whole has only convinced me further that there is no deity. Our whole notions of cause and effect are tied up in the concept of time. But time is part of our universe. It is affected by gravity, for example. And it began with the universe.

On the other hand, I am continually in awe of the beauty and immensity of the universe and the variety of effects and things in it. So while the universe is 'all physics and chemistry', it is still amazing!

Oh I do. Carl Sagan used to like to ridicule religion (until he got cancer), but if you read his account of the big bang and the account of the creation of the world in Genesis, it's the same story. Likewise, the "mysteries" of science all seem to involve the concept of time in one way or another. Yet in Ecclesiastes 3:11 it says ..."God put eternity (or time, or the World, depending on translation) into the mind of man so that he could not see the end of his works". Remarkable, for words written thousands of years before Einstein.

Maybe you are failing because being an athiest isn't in the cards for you. You should turn back to God and give your life over to Him and pray for the things that you need help with. That's the only way that you will get anywhere. God is the only way!

There is no evidence in the objective observation of the universe to indicate that there is a god or that any such being has ever been involved in the processes by which the universe has unfolded.

"God stuff" is a matter of BELIEF, rather than the consideration of scientific evidence. The two are completely different areas of thought, and cannot be superimposed or counterimposed on each other.

Anyone is free to believe as he or she chooses, so long as those beliefs do not include a sense of license to impose them on others or to use them to browbeat or insult others.

There may be a god, or there may not be. Neither proposition is subject to scientific insight.

Any good scientist should have the same answer: "I don't know".

I have never seen any scientific evidence either proving or disproving the existence of a "higher power" or gods. It does point towards a very "hands off" god however, if it could prove that she exists.

as with everything there is 2 sides to the story. some believe there is the almighty creator and others believe that it was all created by the big bang theory. me personally i cannot believe the second one that this much life and amazing things could be created from a large explosion. it just seems to me that there is more out there that created this all and that would be what i call god.

when you have studied physics and astronomy as much as i have, you start to think of the universe as a big huge mind, and not a big huge machine.
