18 game schedule would be fine if there were only 2 pre-season games.

Such a toll on your body . . .Laugh out loud, that's what the week break in between games is for. They get so much money anyways, I'm sure 4 or 6 extra games wouldn't be so bad. They should play one home and one road game against each divisional opponent and 2 divisions in each conference, making 22 games. This can happen over 24 weeks, giving each team an extra bye week. It could start at the start of August with the preseason ( that would be shortened to 2 or 3 games) in July. The season would end near current super bowl time meaning that the super bowl would take place at the start of March giving the NFL more options for super bowl cities because of the better weather. The offseason is way too long and this is the solution.

You're possibly in exactly the same vessel as the great majority of activities gamblers up and down the country who're dropping a lot more than they actually win. You may have the occasional get that maintains you coming back for more, but all the time your choices lose. And that prices you actually more income! If you wish to put the end at this problem then you must search here https://tr.im/XWKcy .

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. Is that enough times? Oh I'm all for dropping it to a 3 week Pre-season and even starting the season sooner. I'm AGAINST MORE GAMES.
Oh and I think this was only meant as 17 games people, I think the 18 WEEK SEASON was like how we have a 17 WEEK season right now.

you obviously have never played football before
that season takes such a toll on your body, you are lucky to get through a 16 game season. now you want 18 games!!!!
hypothetically now: say a team plays all 18 games. they get the Wild Card and win out to the Superbowl
that makes 18 + WC game + Divisional game + Conference Chip + Super Bowl = 22 GAMES!!!!!!!! thats half of the year spent on football
players would be injured more often and the NFL would see alotta problems with players getting hurt. guys just cant play that much
i think preseason should be 2-3 games MAX to prevent injury and training camp should be extended

Nah, 16 games seems perfect. I mean, even the numbers dont sound right for 18 games. You would be hearing on ESPN " and the detroit lions missed the playoffs with a 5-13 record."

I think you run into the same problems that MLB is running into with season records. Today you have good 2000 yd rushers, whose accomplishments are minimized because OJ did it in a 12 game season.
I think it should remain as it is now.

No. 16 games is plenty and if the season were made longer players would get hurt more often and it would shorten their careers.
