He is currently eating:
28 oz of formula a day and 7 oz of baby food.
Is it time to drop another bottle and add dinner and up his food to 9 oz a day or just leave it the way it is?

He is currently 16 lbs and 30 inches. It just seems like he needs more food, long and lean..... Maybe, it's just me wanting him to fill out more. He looks soo thin, healthy, but thin. All the other kids at daycare have some weight on him.

I never got worked up about how much formula my kids were drinking or should be or shouldn't be. It is the stuff with the vitamins. Add in other foods only as YOUR DOCTOR tells you, not a bunch of strangers on YA.
The best factor for knowing what to feed them and when is YOUR BABY.

Actually, he should be getting 32oz of formula a day. The solids are secondary - they're just mainly for practice for when you start weaning him to regular foods. Until he's a year old, formula is still his primary source of nutrition. So, when he takes the 32 oz of formula (you can keep the 28oz, but don't go lower, if he takes less formula, back off the solids a bit) and whatever you're currently offering him and still seems hungry, offer a little more. Babies won't eat if they're not hungry.

See, veterinarians are experts on animal wellness and a few do not difficulty discovering a lot approximately habit. And the broker is right in that wellness-smart, 4 weeks for an orphaned domestic dog is probable ok. So, a vet might perhaps have pronounced it may well be risk-free for them to flow to new properties then. yet, habit-smart, the puppies particularly might desire to stay mutually as a muddle for 4 greater weeks or new properties are probably to adventure subject concerns with undesirable social skills, mouthiness, separation rigidity while older, and so on. you won't have the means to do something approximately it, except your state has regulations against advertising puppies that age (and somewhat some do). upload: States the place sale of puppies under 8 weeks is unlawful with the aid of regulation, regulation applies to all persons except I indicated in any different case: Arizona (for 'sellers'), California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois (broker or kennel operator), Indiana, Kansas (retail breeder), Maryland, Massachusetts (commercial saler), Michigan (puppy shop), Missouri, Nebraska, ny (broker), Ohio, Pennsylvania. I was told that a minimum of 32oz of formula a day until six months, and then to start adding in small amounts of food.
Keep giving him as much formula as he'll drink, because he needs those calories and those grams of fat for brain development.
The food is secondary.
Do not drop a bottle...in fact, you might think about adding one.

You may want to consult your doctor because all children are different. Some children at six months are ready for more food but some are not. It really just depends. If you feel that he is ready for more food than you can add it but I would really recommend that you consult your doctor as well.

He can have food. I give my 6 mo. mashed potatoes and macaroni n cheese, food like that are okay. I would make sure its soft food though. Even rice cereal mixed in with fruit would be okay. Good luck it can be messy. LOL
