A Revert back to modernism. Thank goodness. That postmodernism nonsense makes no sense by any stretch of the imagination.

To the extent that post-modernism has triumphed (there are plenty of places, institutions that remain untouched by it: bastions of isolation, traditional continuity or dogmatic certainty) it can only leave fragmentation in its wake.
Relative, partial, personal truths and stories.
Groups increasingly incomprehending of other points of view, as the necessary common ground, even only of assumptions, is lost.

I mean, there are people out there who think that Harry Potter is a pinnacle of literature! How is one supposed to talk to or understand such alien beings?
