Time does not stop, but the rate at which time passes for somebody traveling at a significant fraction of the speed of light from the perspective of an observer on Earth, will appear to be much slower.
For the person traveling at the high speed, however, time will seem to pass normally.
This is a part of Einstein's Theory of Relativity and has been proven to be true. It is also known as the "Twin Paradox", which says that if one of two identical twins went on a trip in space at close to the speed of light, upon their return, the travel ling twin would have aged a few months while their sibling had aged decades.

Actually yes, you would not age a bit. By Einstein's theory, no matter where you go, there you are. So if you are in a place where you are not experiencing time, then you would be doing absolutely nothing. Not moving, not growing, couldn't call your mom. You would not exist.
However, in space you are still accelerating with respect to something in the universe. Therefor you are experiencing time. You are experiencing a different amount of time than the people here on Earth because you are moving faster than they are. But there is indeed time in space.

Not true at all. Time in space is the same as time here on Earth. Time is only relative when it comes to velocity. But even then you still age the same according to the wristwatch that you are wearing.
There is one way to stop aging which many people have already tried.
Death.

Time is everywhere.(except maybe "inside" a blackhole)
its call the Space-time continuum (3D space plus 1 more D which is time) right now we cannot escape these 4ds in our universe.
http://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space-time_continuum
if time didn't exist in space, everything would be frozen like a picture. we would have no sense of past present of future. We couldn't judge anything to anything else.
we would ultimately by as cognative as a statue and the universe would never move, grow or die. including light and/or thought.
no. we wouldn't grow older. but we couldn't ever move or think so what good would it do. It would be like being dead, if not worse
long show, but worth a watch.

No, That is false, Every planet each and every objects has it's life. No matter short or long but age is pre-defined. If here is no time we still growing up. Once upon a time there was no time measurement instrument like today. But people were born, growing up and dieing.

there is time in space, so we do age. But in general time can be defined precisely as what allows change to occur. When time stops you stop and nothing occurs. Theoretically if you were going light speed you would reach infinite mass and time would slow (perhaps to a standstill). There used to be a question as to whether time really slows or if it just seems like it, but apparently recent evidence shows that it really does slow and in fact a clock for example would show that less time has passed. So theoretically if you go faster time slows down (only slightly as you can't even come close to 186,000 miles per second) and you would be expanding your lifespan. Lunatic explains what i mean pretty well if you don't get it.

Human can not go back to yesterday and can not reach tomorrow until it came. But, because God can go to pass and future, so in God’s time there is no beginning and no end, no such a thing as pass or future; that is true “no time”. To answer your question: when we truly in “no time”, there is no such a thing as age, old, young; so the answer is we never grow old in “no time”.
In space do not have sun and moon to tell day or night, but you still have pass and future. When one days human can space travel, we still grow old, because space still just a part of God’s creation.

Time is just the way we humans measure change. Change, including aging, would still occur without time, which is a man made concept anyway.

well we would still age cause there would still be months and years and such it would just be harder to tell when one day ended and the next began which would make it hard to tell what month and then what year you were in. So yeah you would age but good luck trying to keep track of how old you are.

maybe. but time shouldn't have much to do with our growing. i don't really know much about space and I'm sure there're people out there who can answer that question better than i am.
