This is as good a time to buy a video card as any. The Radeon 2400/2600/2900 line has just come out as competition to the NVidia products so there are some good deals on the 8600GTS and the 8800GTS.

Upgrading from a 7600 just remember that the 8400 and 8500 are not going to be faster than what you have, they will just have Dx10 for newer games. If you are going to the bigger Nvidia cards watch out for their power requirements.

The 8800GTX and GTX Ultra require HUGE power supplies (and cooling to match).

As for what website? Lots to choose from. I like newegg.com but also check out tigerdirect.com, mwave.com, and zipzoomfly.com.

Hope that helps

www.pricewatch.com

(newegg.com also advertises on that site so you can do a price comparison very easily.)

If you don't think you can trust another vendor, put their web site name into their store ratings search:

www.resellerratings.com

Anything over a "6" rating is good enough for me. (newegg is a 9.87, so they are tops)

www.newegg.com

It offers customer reviews, and I doubt VERY seriously you will find a better price.
