Winzip problems?

I've asked this question before and got nowhere. Everytime Ido something this wretched message comes up "Winzip Self-Extractor-rundll32..." It will not let me open remove/add programms or anything else. I did not install Winzip, so how the heck did it get there. I've installed every "solution" I can think of - spyware, hijacking, registry everything, but I am still getting this wretched thing and can't do a lot of things that you normally expect to do on the computer.

well, why not try and install winzip and then unistall it. Sounds like your computer is looking for winzip, which a basic version comes with windows xp, and it's having problems finding it.

Winzip is often included with downloaded programs/applications or files from the Net.
It is not Spyware or Malware.
You are seeing a random general protection (GP) fault error message. This is created by your system. I think the safest solution would be to get a computer tech to have a look.
Mucking about with DLL's can play havoc with your PC.

yeah it's happend to me to don't now what the hell it is but it went away download zone alarm free firewall to stay safe from hackers my be you got hacked and someone installed it but don't get winzip theres a free program that dose the same called 7 zip

You can do what Connor O. says; or, better yet, install any one of the free, and much easier to use, compression programs out there.
