I personally love My Chemical Romance, Paramore, +44, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, AFI, The Almost, The Higher, Say Anything, Yellowcard, The Sounds, The Acadamy is..., and Cute is What We Aim For. What are some of your favorite alternative rock bands? Please, no poser alt kids. You actually better like the bands you list.

Oh, I love all of those bands. Alternative is my favorite genre of music, ever. =D
Addition to those bands, heres some I like:
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Boys Like Girls, Angels & Airwaves, Dashboard Confessional, Family Force 5, The Used (well, they're more grunge rock, but some songs could be classified as alternative), Cobra Starship... I can't really think of more, because you listed almost all my favorite bands, aha.
EDIT: Oh! Thought of some more. Plain white T's, Reliant K, Atreyu, 30 Seconds to mars, Saosin, New found glory... ha, this question really had me thinking.

ok, well you basically named all of my favorite bands! anyway, my other favorites are Muse, Aiden and i just started listening to AFI and Madina Lake (they are REALLY good!), ive been listening to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Green Day, My Chemical ROmance, Flyleaf, Saosin, and Mute Math (but by your other bands i don't think you'd like them), and ROoney for a while. PLain White T's, Boys Like Girls, Paramore, MCR, Panic! At The Disco and Fall OUt BOy (#1 BABY!!!) are my favorite bands though. hope that helped you out!
