The first light will not stop blinking orange.
I have tried just about everything there is to think of. the printer just will not print because this light wont stop flashing.

the printer is 1012. I have checked the manuel and nothing is mentioned in there. I have even called hp but because i have no warrenty they refuse to help me without cost.

I have done all these things like that. i have reinstalled it, changed the toner. I have exaughested everything i can think of. All these little things I have done.

It is a black and white laser printer. I got this printer form someone but it is brandnew. They tested it before sending it and it worked. I have not printed a thing. So there cant be a paper jan because i have never printed anything sucsessfully with it.

What model of "laserjet" that's just a range.
Does the manual give some indication of what the orange light means when blinking, usually it's either toner low, or a paper jam.
Either dig out the manual it came with, or go to www.hp.com and use their online support section, enter model of printer, and you can do a walkthough to solve problems.

WRITE THE COMPANY, MODEL OF YOUR PRINTER THEN SOME BODY HELPS YOU.
IF IT IS A LASER PRINTER, THEN YOU NEED TO CLOSE THE DOOR OF TONER CARTRAGE PROPERLY, IF YOU DO IT AND PROBLEM EXIST, THEN YOU HAVE A PAPER JAMM IN THE PRINTER, REMOVE THE JAMM PAPER FROM YOUR PRINTER TO OPEN THE TONER CARTRAGE DOOR, BE CAREFUL TURN OFF PRINTER POWER BEFORE THESE STEPS.

Try reinstalling drivers at printers and faxes. Add printer.

Try uninstalling it then re-install it,that cured it for me.
