I think that is the part that is the hardest for us to understand. Here we've studied our country's constitution all these years and lived by it, and yet we are not always allowed a fair "trial" in the case of violations on here. I think more than half of the unwarranted violation notices are issued because of misinterpretation of words and intent. I do realize that we have the ability to write back..... but I find I get a form email back that says it is being reviewed...... and then I never hear back. I never feel like my voice has been heard. I hate that the "powers at be" get to decide my fate. I do pray that before they send out suspensions that they review our profiles and see what we have contributed, but sometimes I fear they do not. In this case.... it does feel like we are sometimes guilty.... until proven innocent. *sigh*

I received my very first violation notice the other day and appealed it (it was rescinded) since all I had done was repeat the insult the asker had asked. I'd say it was "no contest" more than guilty or innocent.

Most often the sentenceing comes with the notices. My suspension notice is usually right in there with the violation notices.
