I have not been in college for a while and have been taking a biology course this summer for 10 weeks. It has been so hard. I really need to make a passing grade on the final to pass. I usually just read over my notes and past quizes repeatedly until I memorize them. Any other suggestions?

Start in the beginning. Study chapter 1 until you know it, then study chapter 2 until you know all of that. Don't try to read through everything in the beginning. Breaking it into sections will help you remember it better.

If you like flashcards, use them. If your book has practice questions, try them. Do what you enjoy most.

I would try and invest in a slo-cooker and do plenty of big stews etc. The ingredients can be left put straight in and with a bit of liquid left to simmer all day long and if you are not ready just turn down to auto or warm. This will keep your food warm but not cooking any more. I have frequently done this. All you have to do then is either boil some pasta, potatoes rice or whatever, and dig in. Good luck with the exams.

I've always found that the best way to study is to pay attention in class and keep up with the work during the term. Then I don't have to study much for the exam.

Looking over class notes and past quizzes is a good way to study.

You are doing all you can, so what you get is what you get.
