Completely true. Look it up on the internet, go to a Holocaust memorial or a War Museum. There is an enormous amount of evidence to support this. I recently attended a Holocaust Remembrance Luncheon and the guest speaker was a Holocaust survivor. His story of what he went through was absolutely heart-breaking. It's hard to even imagine the level of cruelty that was shown to European Jews as well as Gypsies, homesexuals, and the handicapped in Nazi Germany. The only people who don't believe the Holocaust was real are either members of hate groups or extremely radical religious extremists.

To give a strickly technical answer the usual statement is that "approximately 6 million people, the vast majority of them jews, died in the concentration camp system during WW2".
Because there is no comprehensive list anywhere the number is generated partially through train records, the Germans kept records of deliveries to camps by railway companies because were paid a certain number of Fenig's per person per kilometer. Not all the train records still exist, but more than enough to give a clear indication of the scale of what went on.
Extracts from these records are available in museums around the world.
The state of the camps when Allied troops arrived, whether Russian or US, or UK was well documented. The BBC for one has extensive films collected by Richard Dimbleby.
The number of jews who died during the war was probably significantly higher than 6 million, because 18 million Russian civilians were killed, and many of those in an area called the pale of settlement were jewish.
Then there is the huge scale of eyewitness testimony, the personal effects of victims, and the testimony at the Nuremberg trial.

The holocaust happened, and there were many more than 6 million killed by the Nazi. The 6 million figure only includes Jews. Also killed were Gypsies, Russians, the handicapped, and other non-"aryian races".
The evidence is overwhelming for the Holocaust.

That the holocaust occured is beyond doubt. I think there is some question as to the number of people killed. Truely, though, does it matter whether it was 2 million, 4 million 6 million or 8 million. I don't think so. It was an atrocity.

It's true - the evidence is overwhelming.
Try the Yad Vashem website or the U.S. Holocaust Museum.
And don't forget the additional millions the Nazi's murdered in the Concentration Camps - Gypsies, Greeks, Homosexuals, Communists, et al. Another 6 million is a CONSERVATIVE estimate.

Actually most scholars place the total between deaths as a result of Nazi eradication efforts at 9-11 million, 4-6 of which were jewish.
Other victims targeted in the "final solution" included the Roma (gypsies), people with disabilities (physical and mental), gay men (and some women), soviet pow's and a scattering of jehovah witnesses and free masons.
The documentation is pretty thorough. Between what was discovered by militia liberating Germany, photos taken by soldiers of those who were discovered in the camps still living, testimonials of survivors, unearthing of mass graves, documentation by the Nazis and documentation taken by ordinary citizens of German and Nazi occupied countries, the facts are difficult to dispute.
There are some who claim it all was fabricated. There are also some that merely deny the massive extent of the deaths.
Some documentation such as census numbers have been disputed, both in favor of increasing the estimates and declining the estimates.
I guarantee the more you research this independantly, the more you will know that Holocaust was a real event that was huge in its magnitude.

You're kidding, right?
It is 100% true. I've actually been to Auschwitz. That was the creepiest feeling I've had in my life. I've met Holocaust survivors.
This wasn't something ginned up by someone with spare time on their hands. Hitler's FINAL SOLUTION was quite real, and probably the low point of human civilization.

properly, NO. The 'why' of my answer may well be this: Christianity is appeared at i think of as a theory gadget. yet maximum christians have not got the slightest CLUE what Judaism is all approximately. As for Anti-semitism, the preaching of 'saving the Jews' is an on the spot affront!.. Even the recent testomony teaches that the Jews are "G-d's human beings"... G-d deals with them WHY attempt to transform them. you're born a Jew yet in spite of the fact that if or not you learn Judaism is your determination. you're actually not born a christian... you become a christian... And in case you % to renowned from the prespective of somebody who has been in contact in this difficulty for some time now... The historic Jesus of Nazereth is often a myth as portrayed with the aid of Western christianity... evaluate this, he replaced into not a wood worker. He replaced right into a wood laborers SON. He replaced into discovered ARGUING with the elders (the extreme monks! the scientists of their day!) on the age of twelve...! He replaced into arguing Torah! Even I even have not attained something like that time. I carry that the guy elementary as Jesus of Nazereth replaced into in actuality himself a clergyman or knowledgeable in Rabbinical study... he replaced into somewhat literate, and that i firmly carry he replaced right into a spoke of prodigy and his call replaced into Joshua! (Yeheshua) in Hebrew. The "Christ" is a Greek term meaning "Annointed"... He did not come to 'save the international', he got here to the Jews! And in undemanding terms the Jews! cf the recent attempt. his 'apostles' come to him after a gathering and ask: "why do you tutor us those issues and not the human beings" (that are frequently gentile) and he replies 'because of the fact i might might desire to heal them and that they may well be "switched over"... this has a lot to do with the instructions on the 'mixed multitude'... you will might desire to do your man or woman study on that. yet no, i don't think of it particularly is a sin... is is in basic terms for the main area... genuine. Christianity has usurped a faith and thoroughly mangled the truths of the instructions... and that i'm not a Jew, nor a christian or the different faith, i'm an ordained minister yet i'm particularly ecclectic now-a-days... studied too a lot history and experieced too a lot on the path to % to declare ANY faith,.. faith is yet another rely.

The evidence is overwhelming, one thing the Nazis did was keep extensive records including video footage of the gas chambers and crematoria in operation. By the way, the six million figure is just the Jews, another five million non-Jews were killed.

It is 100% true. There are war documents that confirm the fact, there are Concentration Camps still standing. There are pictures. Most importantly, there are still people who have that haunted look in their eye and a number tattooed on their forearm. You ask THEM how real and true it is.
