I am not sure as a man and never having the same fear as a women it is hard for me to explain what I would do. I think it best not to be a man and stand with one foot on the kill holding your weapon for a picture. That's just crazy men ****. Be smarter than that. I believe one doest need to celebrate in any manner just getting past that fear and confronting it is a big challenge and knowing you have the strength and power inside you should be enough. Talk to your friends do what you need but enjoying the kill like a man may come back to haunt you if you really aren't that kind of a person inside.
like I said I am not a women and I don't know you, so you need to do what you know is best and what ever it may be don't go over board, you don't want to lower yourself to his standards or you have just become that person you feared.
Have a great life, smile always.

Well... with that major obstacle out of your way, now is a time to reflect on what other fears you want to confront and be done with!! Take this powerful feeling you have and move forward with momentum.... girl.. you are a NEW woman. Go get your hair done, pamper yourself... do those things this ex has said you could never do.... but be true to yourself.
I would suggest writing down in a journal what you did, said, and how it made you feel.. so if (no, when) you encounter another man JUST like this idiot, you'll remember what you had to live through... and you'll NOT do it again.
Go on girl.. it's your time. Don't waste it!!!

That is really great! Nobody should be afraid of someone else, especially someone who is supposed to be an important part of their life. It takes a lot to face the person who you fear. You did good.
Celebrate by doing what makes you happy.

Congratulations on your strength. I made myself a nice dinner for just myself. And then bought some expensive clothes from Nordstrom's online. I felt so free. Thank God you got that monkey off your back.

Hip Hip Horray! You go, woman! All ex's need their come-upins. I was afraid of my abuser husband before and after the divorce. It took a while but you are a stronger woman than you realize. STAND UP TALL AND PROUD! You are woman, hear you roar. Buy yourself a massage!

Congratulations... I know how you feel. I was always scared of upsetting my ex, so I never told him how I felt. But once I did, I felt so much better...
Best way to celebrate... night out with the girls or friends or even by yourself to celebrate your independence!
CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD JOB!!!
