I finally got my husband to commit to a time frame, 6-8 months from now so long as either all of the credit card is paid, and half the car (or visa versa) AND I have to be working from home.

My question is how can I prep my body to conceive as quickly as possible and so I can have a healthy pregnancy?
I don’t take BC so I don’t have to worry about that, I have a glass of OJ every day, drink at least 64 OZ of water a day and take a woman's muti vitamin. I do want to try to lose 10 lbs, but I don't think it's really necessary to do so.( I'm 5 ft 1/2 in and weight 130 Lbs).
Anything else I should be doing to help my body be at it's healthiest and most fertile come January? I already track my periods and fertile times as well.

I already don't some and only drink a few times a month. I plan on stopping that as the time gets closer. As for caffine I have 1 drink (usually a Pepsi) a day, just to wake me up and get me through work.

Don't smoke, drink, and cut out caffeine. You say you track your cycles and fertile times, what method do you use? Ovulation calendars are not reliable, charting your basal body temps would be the best way. That way you can identify if you are going to have certain problems now and get it corrected, like luteal phase defect, CM problems, or abnormal spotting, etc. Make sure the vit you are taking meets the requirements for prenatal vitamins. You may even want to switch to a prenatal vit. About 3 months before you actively TTC make an appt with your Gyn for a Pre-conception visit. This will be a good time to make sure your current Gyn is the one you want to be your OB during your pregnancy.

You should start with prenatal vitamins now. It is best to start taking them before you conceive. Other than that, just eat right and don't smoke or drink. If you drink a lot of caffeine it would be easier for you if you start gradually cutting back instead of trying to go "cold turkey" later on. Good luck.

Start taking prenatal vitamins now. The sooner you get your folate levels up the better for the baby. Doctors usually recommend taking a good folic acid supplement (which are found in all good prenatals) prior to conceiving because it decreases the chances of certain birth defects and aids with cell division which is super important in early pregancy.

Good luck .

Just eat healthy and exercise regularly. Try to steer clear of stress if at all possible. Keep tracking your ovulation times. That is about all you can do that I know of.
