You may have already thought about this, but when are you taking your prenatel vitamin? I recommend taking them at night just before bedtime because I learned quickly that taking them in the morning left me with a metallic taste in my mouth all day. It was awful. Now I take them before bed and don't have problems other than occassionally when I wake up during the night. Also, it seemed to ease up the further a long I got, though I still believe the metal taste is a direct result of the vitamin. You can also try peppermint or chewing some gum. Either way, it should go away soon!

Good luck!

Yup, very normal. They say it has to do with the iron in the prenatal vitamins. Ask your doc if you can take one that has less iron in it and that may help. It also may be from acid reflux or heartburn. Just kinda comes with the pregnancy, along with so many other strange things!!! Try sucking on a hard candy to get that taste out of your mouth.

The metallic taste is normal for pregnancy but I know how weird it can be. Try keeping fresh lemons on hand and sucking them. Lemon is a natural disinfectant and cleanser.

It's possible the weird taste could be due to minerals you are taking - i.e in your vitamins or a supplement? Take them before going to sleep so you won't taste it all day long.

Or if the weird taste is accompanied by a burning in your throat it could be heartburn, and you can safely take Maalox.

This is totally normal I had this with all 3 of my pregnancies. You can't get rid of it as such but try sucking a mint or eating ginger biscuits to mask the taste.

In some cases that is normal but it all depends on your iron level. When i pregnant if I had that taste in my mouth my iron was low but other than that it was fine

First, he would not necesarily get into worry, a minimum of no longer legal worry in view which you're the two one in each and every of age. and you mustn't have been having unprotected intercourse at 17 then you certainly would not be in this place
