Try a simple Tire Balance/Rotation/Alignment Inspection first. It could be as simple as a bad tire on the front. A good front end technician will be able to tell and suggest repairs.

Most likely the tires are out of balance. If possible, take your car to a service that does Dynamic balancing not Static balancing. You could also have a bent wheel or a tire with a bad belt (a good balancer will find this). Or it might be a bad a-frame, tie rod, or front suspension, or a worn/bent axle. Any of these could cause both the veering and the shaking.
You might not need an alignment. All roads are crowned, and, since we drive on the right side of the road (if you are in the US), the road is higher in the middle and lower on the right, so every car if properly aligned veers to the right. Try driving in the left lane of a divided highway (with median) and see if it veers to the left.

This is often caused by your tires being out of balance.
Take your car to a shop, have them check out your front suspension and steering rack. If everything is okay, ask them to do a 4 wheel alignment and to rotate and balance the tires. This should take care of your problem.

If you have a broken belt in the tire, you sure don't want to drive it far. Faulty steel or kevlar belts are unusual, but it sounds like that may be the problem. Most of the time, that isa manufacturing defect. I would go the the nearest store that carries the brand of tire you have. They should be able and willing to make the Manufacturer's warranty good. You will probably have to pay a prorated charge for the new tire, but that beats a new tire. You can also call the manufacturer's toll free phone number to see what they will do. Good luck

Since it veers to the right ALL the time I would have the front end checked out.The shaking tends to be maybe a tire out of balance.

It could be tires, or a suspension problem. To start with take it to an alignment shop and have it aligned and see it that helps. Have the tires balanced at the time and rotate them.
The shop should be able to tell you if you have worn tie rod ends or ball joint problems or worn shocks. good luck.

Have it checked by a mechanic. It could be anything, ball joints, tie rod ends, bearings etc. Veering one way usually means there are issues with alignment. I am assuming all your tires are inflated properly?

you need to take it to a tire shop, and have them balance and rotate the tires on it,this should put a stop to it doing that, its not nothing to worry about right now but it will drive better once this is done,id also have them check the alignment on it,good luck with it.

Just a guess...are you driving a Ford? Maybe an escort? It's because the car sucks. Nothing can fix it...well something can fix it but it would cost more than the car itself.
If it's not a Ford....Ummmm power steering fluid?
