I think she should go to jail, she broke the law. AND jail would do her good, she thinks she's above the law and how sad.

At 21 she has more money then GOD and had a successful career and she is blowing it (up her nose) and her reputation.

She needs to get sober, get help and the law is the law.
Maybe a humbling experience like jail would be the slap she needs.
I do feel sorry for her, how sad that she was so lucky to be successful from parent-trap to freaky friday, mean girls, etc and at 21 can't handle it.

Its sad but I feel like its for her own good. Obviously she is a danger to herself and society right now so ironically jail time might save her life as well as the lives of others.

i really used to like that girl, she blew me away with her sweet performance in parent trap. but shes been hanging out with the wrong crowd in hollywood, and has been influenced by those ppl. it IS in her hands to stick up for whats right, but she decided not to. so, it IS her fault that shes going to jail. im not happy, mad, or even sad about this. i just pity her. maybe after shes outta jail, she'll learn her lesson. lets all just hope for the best.

Hopefully she will learn from this unlike Paris, but who knows only time will tell. I hope it does change her because of all the young girls who look up to those like Lindsey, Paris, Britney and others like them. There really needs to be a strong woman role model that young girls can look up to, not the trashy ones we have now.

I mean its kinda sad but if you do the crime you must do the time...its not fair that these celebrities get good treatment and a get out of jail free card...they need the same treatment as if they werent celebrities. so im glad that she will do her time...look at nicole richie she knows what she did is wrong as is willing to live up to her mistakes...lisa

I think she needs help. It seems the only way she's gonna get it is by doing some time. Maybe that will help her.
BTW...I don't feel a bit sorry for her. I think she's a big ******, just like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

Do the crime, do the time. I'm not happy or mad, I think it's a shame that a young person has lost control of their self.

She's going to jail?

is this the part where I'm supposed to pretend I care one way or the other?

LOL, sorry... seriously, I think it'll be a wake-up call for her.

I'm happy because she's gonna get what she deserves. She could've not only killed herself, but she could've killed somebody else. It's careless on her part.

Also, I'm sad that she had to ruin herself like that. Nobody deserves this. She needs some serious help.
