Candy,
Please get me whatever work you can by email no later than Friday. I
need to have time to grade and get the grade into the system. I
understand this might be difficult, but you aren't missing THAT much. If you can
make some effort at a paper, that would be the biggest priority. It
might be helpful to focus on something else, even for a little while.
Don't try to make anything perfect, just do the best you can. I award
partial credit, so the most important thing is to get me whatever you can.
I hope this is helpful to you, and I hope you see some improvement in
your situation soon.

My depression is getting worse & worse. I'm trying to fight it. I just
haven't had any energy at all & I've been sleeping a lot. Before this
week is out, I hope to have everything. I haven't gotten to do ANYTHING
because of my depression & the doctor told me that anemia is a big
contributor to my low energy & depression. I've been having a lot of crying
spells. & I've still been coughing & sneezing a lot & having a lot of
stomach & headaches. I feel like this semester is a CURSE for me. I
have no luck at all.

It sounds like she's trying to be considerate of your situation yet still let you know that she cares about your education and wants you to do your best in whatever amount you can give. It also sounds like there's a deadline she has to meet for the grading and she's gently nudging you to meet it for both your sakes. Good luck and feel better!

I don't think she sounds annoyed. I think she wants you to do the best you can and is trying to encourage you.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do. I've been there myself. I was 15-17 and the entire time, I missed all my school work. (I was home-schooled through H.S., but during that time, I did none of it), so now I'm paying for it. I really hope that things pick up for you. I'm not going to say that tomorrow will be better, but eventually one of those tomorrows will be. Just give it time. I really wish I could say something to make you feel better. But I know I can't.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

It really does not sound as if she is inpatient with you. It sounds as if she may be under some pressure to get the grades in. She sounds very nice and it sounds as if she understands your problems. It sounds as if she likes you too; otherwise the email would have been much for formal. I hope I read it correctly and she is not getting inpatient.

i think she sounds a bit annoyed...however your situation isnt something she should be annoyed with...maybe shes just trying to push you? maybe she thinks that will help you in some way....
